Welcome to the Crusharo Privacy Policy ("Policy"). It explains how we collect, store, protect, and share your information, and with whom we share it. We suggest you read this in conjunction with our Terms of Service.
While you are using the Crusharo app (including the desktop version) ("App"), our websites and microsites (such as crusharo.com) or our digital products and services (such as our competitions or surveys) (together, referred to in this Privacy Policy as our "Sites"), we collect information about you. In addition, you may choose to use the App or Sites to share information with other Crusharo members, including your friends and contacts ("Users"). We may also occasionally need to share your information.
The Crusharo App and Sites are international. Your information will be sent and used in the United States and the United Kingdom regardless of your country of residence. This Policy details how we protect your personal data when we transfer it abroad. Please read it carefully!
Who are we?
Crusharo Trading Limited acts as the data controller for personal data collected and processed via the Crusharo app and sites (referred to as "We" in this Policy).
Crusharo has appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be contacted by sending an email to dpo@crusharo.com.
1. Information Collection
Registration Information
When you download the App and create an account ("Account"), you provide certain information ("Registration Information") about yourself to enable us to provide our service and improve the App over time. For example:
- Name
- Username
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Gender identity
- Date and place of birth
- Sexual preference
- Photos
- Location
- Login information for social media accounts you connect to your Crusharo account (this may include, for example, your Facebook and Instagram accounts).
You will also need to create a password as part of creating your account. Once registered, you will be able to review and change some of this information at any time simply by logging into Crusharo or contacting the customer support team. It is your responsibility to ensure that your account information is kept up to date.
The information we collect helps us improve the App and verify our Users (bots are not welcome). Registration information such as your sexual orientation, your name, and your username may be visible to other Users who view your profile page.
Profile Information
We highly recommend (and to all our members) that you carefully consider the information you share about yourself. We advise against including email addresses, URLs, instant messaging details, phone numbers, full names or addresses, credit card details, national identity numbers, drivers' licence details, and other sensitive information in your profile which is open to abuse and misuse.
Profile Verification Information (including biometric data)
For security and safety and to ensure you have the best possible user experience, we will ask you to verify your account. In doing so, we will ask for your phone number and, in some cases, we might also ask that you carry out photo verification or identity verification. We want to make sure you are not a robot! And we also want to avoid fake Crusharo accounts being created which can be used for malicious activities and cybercrime.
If you choose to do photo verification, we will scan each photo you submit. The scan may include the use of facial recognition technology and involves the collection of biometric data so that we can compare the photo you submit to your profile photo, to help ensure you are who you say you are. You can request manual verification if you do not want facial recognition technology to be used.
Purchases Information
If you decide to purchase any of our premium services, we will process your payment information and retain this securely for the prevention of fraud and for audit/tax purposes. Crusharo uses automated decisions to prevent fraudulent payment transactions being processed as part of its anti-fraud procedures.
Geolocation Information
If you have given Crusharo access to your location in your device settings, when you use your mobile, we will collect information about WiFi access points as well as other location information about your longitude and latitude. That information helps us identify your physical location, and we use it to personalize the App and make it easier for you to interact with other Users.
You can disable geolocation at any time in the app settings:
- On iPhone — settings, privacy, location services, Crusharo
- On Android — settings, location, Crusharo, permissions, location
Device Information
When you use the App, we collect data about your device. This includes the unique device identifier, device model, operating system, and MAC address, as well as log files and usage data.

Our Use of Algorithms

We also use algorithms to ensure the safety of our members on the platform. For example, Deception Detector™ is our AI tool that runs in the background to detect and prevent scams before they happen.
Moderation Practices
We use a combination of automated systems and a team of moderators to monitor and review accounts and messages for content that indicates breaches of our Terms of Service. If you post anything that is not in line with our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to your account.
