Profile Guidelines

Age

You must be at least 18 years old to join Crusharo. Creating a profile that intentionally presents you as someone under 18 is prohibited. We reserve the right to ask for an ID to verify your age, and we will block you from the platform if you are not of age.

Profile Photos

We want your profile to showcase your authentic personality! That's why we require that at least one of your profile photos features only you and clearly shows your entire face. We do not allow:

• Heavily distorted profile photos or those containing exaggerated or unnatural digital effects to the point where it's impossible to clearly determine that you are the person in the photos
• Overlaid symbols, icons, frames, or stickers that do not originate from Crusharo on your profile photos
• Memes or photos containing solely - or mostly - text as a profile photo
• Profile photos of children alone
• Profile photos featuring unclothed children

Username

Members are allowed to use initials, abbreviations, contracted or shortened versions of their names, nicknames, full names, and middle names. Members are not required to use their legal name or full name, but usernames must be an authentic representation of the name you use in everyday life. We do not allow:

• Any word or phrase that violates our community guidelines
• The use of a celebrity's or fictional character's name
• Words or characters (other than a valid name), including descriptive words, symbols ($, *, @, etc.), emojis, numbers, or punctuation
• Information sourced from social networks or messaging platforms

Content and Conduct Rules

Nudity and Adult Sexual Activity

We do not allow nude, sexually explicit, or sexually vulgar profile content. We also do not allow the commercial exchange of romantic or sexual activities, content, or services, including attempts to sell, advertise, or purchase adult sexual content.

Bullying and Abusive Behavior

Our community is meant to build friendly connections. We do not allow content or behavior that makes a person or group feel harassed, bullied, or targeted. This includes belittling, insulting, or intimidating behavior, unsolicited comments about a person's appearance, emotional abuse, blackmail, repeated unwanted contact, or wishing, encouraging, or praising acts of violence.

Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

We apply a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of child sexual exploitation and abuse. We do not allow content that sexualizes or endangers children, whether real or fictional (e.g., anime, media, text, illustrations, or digital images). This includes any visual representation or discussion of sexually explicit behavior involving a child. For the purposes of this policy, a child is anyone under 18 years of age. It is prohibited to upload, store, produce, share, or encourage anyone to share child sexual abuse material, even if the intent is to express outrage or raise public awareness of this issue.

Commercial and Promotional Activity

Our platform is not a marketplace. We do not allow the use of Crusharo for unsolicited commercial or promotional purposes.

Controlled Goods and Substances

We do not allow members to use our platforms to directly buy, sell, provide, distribute, or facilitate the purchase, sale, provision, or distribution of illegal drugs and/or the misuse of controlled goods and substances. This includes e-cigarettes, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, or the abuse of legal substances like prescription drugs, tobacco, or alcohol.

Terrorism and Violent Extremism

We do not allow organizations or individuals who promote, glorify, endorse, or support terrorists or violent extremist individuals and groups, or their activities, on Crusharo.

Identity Hate

We wish to foster a diverse and inclusive community on Crusharo. We prohibit any content or behavior that promotes or condones hate, dehumanization, degradation, or contempt toward marginalized or minority communities based on the following protected attributes: race/ethnicity, national origin/nationality/immigration status, caste, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability or serious medical condition, or religion/belief.

Inauthentic Profiles

Crusharo champions authenticity and we expect all our members to accurately represent themselves on their profiles. We do not allow impersonation or misrepresentation on our platform. This includes catfishing (i.e., creating an online persona that is not you) or misrepresenting facts about yourself (including name, gender, age, and permanent location).

Misinformation

We prohibit the sharing of demonstrably false or substantially misleading content likely to cause serious harm or negatively impact individual or public safety. This notably includes content that directly contradicts information and advice from leading, trustworthy global health organizations and public health authorities, false or misleading information about any civic process, and dangerous, unproven conspiracy theories.

Physical and Sexual Violence

We do not tolerate any content, image, or behavior that commits or threatens to commit believable acts of physical or sexual violence. This includes physical harassment, using our platform to help, facilitate, or support human exploitation or trafficking, and sexual assaults of any kind, which we define as unwanted physical contact or attempted physical contact of a sexual nature.

Scams, Fraud, and Theft

Crusharo prohibits any scamming, fraud, or theft activities aimed at deceiving or manipulating its members to extract financial or material resources. This includes asking for or seeking financial support, lying about one's intentions for financial gain, or feigning romantic intentions to deceive members and deprive them of financial or material resources.

Sexual Harassment

We do not tolerate sexual harassment. We consider sexual harassment to be any non-physical, unwanted, and unwelcome sexual behavior between members. This includes cyberflashing (i.e., sharing unsolicited sexually explicit images), in-person exhibitionism, sharing or threatening to share sexual or intimate images without the consent of the person involved or depicted, sending unwanted sexual comments or images, and fetishization.

Spam

We do not allow any type of unwanted or irrelevant content sent in bulk or at high frequency. This includes sharing misleading or misdirected links, creating an excessive number of accounts causing disruption to other members, or having multiple active profiles on our platform to engage in unwanted interactions.

Promotion of Suicide and Self-Harm

We care deeply about our members and understand that some may be struggling with mental health issues, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, or eating disorders. While we allow members to safely share their personal experiences regarding these issues, we do not allow any content that depicts, promotes, glorifies, or assists in activities that could lead to suicide, self-harm, or eating/body image disorders.

Violent and Graphic Content

We do not allow violent, graphic, or gory content. This includes descriptions of violence in usernames or profile content, photos containing blood, bodily fluids, or real or realistic injuries, or images depicting firearms of any kind (except on a uniformed member of law enforcement or military personnel).

Platform Manipulation

We care deeply that our community is built on authentic connections. To protect it, we prohibit automated behaviors that interfere with our platform or compromise it. These behaviors include data extraction, scripting, or artificially influencing connections or interactions related to our members' experience, including automations that can interact with profiles or messages.

We also prohibit the evasion of bans. To protect our community, we prohibit the creation of new accounts and the use of VPNs or other methods to bypass a restriction or ban applied to an account. We remove accounts that attempt to evade bans when we identify them.

Safety Reports

Safety is a top priority on Crusharo. We use a combination of human moderators and automated systems to monitor and review accounts and interactions on Crusharo to detect any content that might violate our Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or be otherwise harmful.

Our members play a vital role in the safety of Crusharo by reporting content or behavior that could violate our Community Guidelines. If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, we strongly encourage you to unmatch - or block and report - the member in question.

However, please consider that disagreeing with or disliking a member or their content is not necessarily a reason to report them. We may take action against a member if we find they are intentionally creating false or inappropriate reports against other members based solely on their protected attributes. This includes reporting transgender or non-binary members for no reason other than their gender identity or expression, or repeatedly sending false reports of bad behavior.

Enforcement Philosophy

All members must comply with the platform rules described and referenced in our Community Guidelines. If you behave in a way that violates the Community Guidelines and values of Crusharo, or if you act in a way that we deem potentially harmful to Crusharo or its members, we may take a range of actions on your account. When determining the penalty for violating our Community Guidelines, we consider a number of factors.

For example, we may:

• Remove content
• Issue a warning
• Ban the offending member from accessing some or all of Crusharo's applications

If necessary, we may also cooperate with law enforcement to assist in possible criminal investigations related to members' conduct. Crusharo reserves the right to proactively report any serious illegal content or behavior (such as child exploitation, terrorism, or imminent threats) to the relevant authorities.

Your behavior towards others outside of the Crusharo app can also result in action against your account. If we are informed of harm between members during dates, friendly meetups, via text messages or direct messaging platforms, or of alleged relevant criminal or harmful conduct committed in your past or outside of Crusharo, we may take action as if it happened on our platform.
